Classic Meatballs
Ingredients
1 lb ground beef
1/2 cup ricotta
1 egg
1 piece of bread (preferably stale)
1 tbsp Italian seasoning
2 tsp salt
1 tsp pepper
Steps
Preheat oven to 425°F.
To a large bowl, add the ground beef, ricotta, egg, Italian seasoning, and salt and pepper. Run the stale bread under the sink for a few seconds and squeeze gently to release any excess water. Add to the bowl. Using your hands, combine the ingredients until well mixed.
Roll the meat mixture into golf-ball size rounds and arrange evenly on a sheet pan. Bake for 20 minutes, or until cooked through. Serve with sauce and a side of bread or pasta if desired.
